To any users who add movies here, you'll notice the API stopped working for it. That's because those greedy bastards decided to charge $1 a month for that service, and I need that money for beer!
No worries though. Johan and Foz have added as shitload of movies, and probably burned themselves out by now. While they're catching their breath, I'll be trying to make a new import feature. It wont be as direct, since it'll have to go through more channels, such as through an API before it can screen-scrape all the other necessary info, but it might end up more exact (like adding aspect ratio and sound info, and auto-tagging black-and-white, etc). Just something I'll be working on.
I'm also hoping to get improved avatar upload system that'll allow users to crop their avatar, cuz I noticed some users have long avatars that are too low-def to truly get. I gotta experiment some more on that first.
Also, for no good reason other than to make a portfolio, I'd like to make a few phony websites, here on TrashEpics. If anyone has any ideas for a dumb website that could be showcased here, give me your ideas. You know, stuff like a fake business website, or some gimmicky website, or anything better you might be able to think of. You'd think this would be easy, but I can't think of anything right now. I'll blame it on being too distraught about the death of my lover, Chris Cornell.
