Who would want to kill Salma Hayek?

Joe Lynch directs this survival/revenge action spectacle in which Salma Hayek plays the titular character, motivated to save her family from the Japanese mafia, who have put a price on her head for turning against them. The plot is simple, as Everly must hole up in her apartment as wave after wave of hitmen are sent in to take her out.

Everly isn't a weapons expert. She's not particularly good at hand-to-hand combat either. She's just an ordinary woman. And a prostitute. Yet she continually proves herself resourceful as she fights to make it out alive not for herself, but for her mother and daughter, who the mob plans to kill in contingency to her as a means of setting an example. That's the mafia for you. Fucking assholes, right?

The film is loaded with kills, violence, blood, and guts, but the main reason to watch it? Salma Hayek. She is HOT in this movie. Hot in general too, but this movie has a way of showcasing her awesome tits and awesome ass in tight clothing. Now to be less sexually objective, she does give an excellent performance as a woman fueled by desperation to escape her awful scenario. And did I mention how hot she is?
