Died 4 years ago today. It's still hard to believe it, but his bizarre entity transcends life and death. In a way, I refuse to accept that he's "dead" because he'll never be dead as long as I keep hearing his music.
I think his last single "Lazarus" is pretty great, and the context of it makes it haunting. Bowie knew he was done for when he made that song and it's sad as fuck. I feel like a lot of that album was like that.
Don't know where I'm going with this, but I go through my musical moods. Lately, it's Bowie. He's just one of those guys that you thought would be around forever. It's still weird to me.
