Pitch Perfect (2012) 7/10

The world of a cappella on college campuses. I went in not knowing much about it, but the one thing I did know is that I probably wasn't going to enjoy it. I ended up with a stack of DVDs, and this was next in the pile.
This was a surprisingly strong movie. The singing was really good (as it would have to be), had a lot of great humor also, and one of those "What the fuck?" moments where I had to rewind and make sure I heard what I thought I did.
If a couple of the humor scenes didn't fall completely flat, I would have seriously considered giving it an 8.
Most surprisingly liked FTV in probably three years.
