Italian Horror

Italian horror movies, for the most part are renowned for their visual style, surreal music and atmosphere. There is a long and rich history going back decades, from the gothic horror to the giallo and everything in between. It is not just all about the celebrated trilogy of great directors in Mario Bava, Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci. There are many other directors who are impressive in their own right. A lot of great ideas and themes came from the country.

Italian horror never disappoints me, even the bad ones! There is a certain charm to them. Here is what I seen and really liked, in order for the most part.
