#NewFeature : Junk Drive
This is basically the same as the old file manager, but with a few improvements. The most notable change is that you can implement privacy settings. Your file can be public (default), private, or visible only to people you follow.
If you want to include images in your post beyond the current attachment system, upload the image, then click on the three dots icon on the right of its listing to get the dropdown menu and click the option to copy the URL. That link will display as an image in your post, and it should still support the alignment markup.
This feature is available to all regulars under the header dropdown menu.
Report any bugs or feedback.

#Lookout
I watched a weird one on the Tubi earlier which seemed and started out pretty normal. This chick gets a job looking out for fires in this tower out in the wilderness. She's stuck there for an entire month in isolation, and normally in a situation like that, there's usually some reason revealed why a character ends up wanting such a job like this. Not only does that not happen, but there's zero character development. I don't believe we get to know this character at all. On the way to her first day, she runs into some backwoods rednecks who is implied to be poachers, but nothing ever comes of that. Most of the movie, this girl is getting used to her surroundings, talking to people on the radio, walking around, etc.
This all seems like some thriller building up to the point where the rednecks from earlier might come back and start some trouble, but that never happens. Instead, there's this nearby camper who was friendly enough at first, but turns out to be an alien. Or some guy inhabited by an alien. This alien is after... something. This girl has some kind of jewel or something. We never learn what it is or what it does or why this alien-possessed person wants it or why it's important to the girl, but the rednecks DO make another appearance, however it's to help out the girl. Somehow, they seem to at least have a vague idea of what's going on here, but get themselves killed by this Terminator-like Alien-possessed person before they manage to get anything out. After easily killing all the rednecks, he's taken out shockingly quick by the girl, who quickly gets a ride home from her boss, who I'm guessing will be accepting her resignation the next day. Is the alien really dead or has it merely found a new vessel? Yeah, that was not how I expected this to go at all. 4/10

Ken Foree at Horror for the Holidays.
I got to attend a Q&A with him at a little horror con yesterday, and shook his hand afterward. He's a really cool guy.

Congress has banned THCA. Those assholes. Fortunately, I don't smoke anymore, but I still think it's a dumb move.
Congress: the opposite of progress.

My co-worker's band opened for Eyehategod.
Friday night. This was my third time seeing his band, Throat Piss, but before it had been with all local acts. It's pretty awesome they got to play with sludge legends.

#Shoutbox
I never really saw the point of that thing, and I'm guessing it ultimately had a lot to do with Trash Epic's lack of activity. However, it's kinda weird not having one on here. And without an activity box, it's hard to tell who's lurking and who isn't. I'm guessing some of you (assuming you're still out there) might be more talkative if we still had a shout box. So, maybe THIS could be the shout box? I mean if anyone has anything random, funny, stupid, political, personal or semi-pointless to say that also doesn't involve a specific movie or tv show or isn't important enough to start your own thread, then maybe this can be the place for that.

#SilentNightDeadlyNight5 (1991)
From the writer of Friday the 13th Part 3 & 5, Martin Kitrosser eventually went on to be script supervisor for several Tarantino movies. Does this movie qualify him for such a position? I wouldn't think so.
Such a weird movie, but it's my favorite of the SNDN sequels. It's got killer toys, Mickey Rooney as a jerkoff toy maker and crazed Santa, and killer robots that want to make love like a real boy!
Despite being better than the last few films in the series, this movie killed the franchise.

@NoseOfNicko, The Long Walk is a 10/10, huh?
I might have watched it in theaters if King hadn't shot this movie in the foot, so to speak.
