A question...

Is there a feminine equivalent to the "macho hell" subgenre of cinema? That is, films like Deliverance, Joe (!970), Southern Comfort, Wolf Lake, Shoot! or La Traque, where "tough" guys get in bad situations and turn them progressively, violently worse through constitutional inability to just back down or be reasonable.

How eclectic is your music taste?

I'm not terribly open-minded when it comes to music. I tend to stay within a range of decades I know and trust, and while it can encompass a lot in itself, I tend to stick with classic rock.

I guess I'm not so into music of these days because I don't have the ear for it yet. I'm kind of primitive when it comes to trends and stuff. I only get to this stuff about ten years down the line, when nobody cares about it anymore. I think a lot of my dislike is how overproduced some of it can get. You couldn't go into a garage and reproduce it without electricity. Music today is too dependent on it, I think, but I digress...

Like I said, I go for the the stuff I know and trust to be good. I don't know... there's just something about songs by actual talented groups that makes their replay value never fade away. Plus, classic rock is great to zone out to when you're high, because that was encouraged for these groups.

Nowadays, kids don't even know how to get the most out of their marijuana, and don't even know how to get high properly. Damn whipper-snappers!

I was listening to The Doors a minute ago, and I had an idea where I was going with this post, but I lost it. It... is... gone. I'm trying to get back into a music habit and write some new songs, hopefully for new videos. I've been slacking this year...

Life (2017)


This new horror/scifi film is about people who discovers a new life from on Mars as life tells the story.

I think it's so good, but my main problem is that characters didn't show their real feelings (just a bit), they were so cold when someone dies. Not afraid or nervous.

I didn't find any characters really memorable except Jake Gyllenhaal's character, I thought he was good as always.

The idea for horror story is cool, and the ending.. my God, it's unexpectedly shocking and sad, but brilliant. It's easily the best part of the movie! I'm glad they didn't make a happy ending.

I don't get why Ryan Reynolds is on poster while he played the first character to die. It's simply because he is Deadpool lol.

8/10, I really liked it! So, if you've seen it, what are your thoughts?

We know @Tromafreak writes movie reviews. We know @zed writes songs. We know @ninjas writes perverted awesome rants. I know @cyborg wrote a pilot for amazon studios (that I hope he'll elaborate on). The estranged @ballz writes short stories and is working on a novel (he's not around, but I do keep in contact with him). Do you write anything? Elaborate on your writing ambitions.

I've written a couple dozen songs. I don't have the instrumental skills that zed possesses (he's got me beat on that and coding, cuz he's a fucking bad-ass), but I've written a few tunes I'm quite proud of. I've also written a bunch of screenplays in the past that I want to retool for my ultimate project, which would be an ongoing series of comedy/drama horror stories set in my own weird ren-o-verse. I spend a lot of my time trying to outline that, but I end up zoning out most of the time. Years of marijuana and laziness will make you very unproductive, but on some ocassions, it can lead to some profoundly weird tales!

Please elaborate on your creative writing endeavors!

Why aren't websites more popular?

Everyone turns to stupid apps these days, but websites can do most anything. I guess with apps, it's all pretty much laid out, whereas websites have different browsers and whatnot that can affect functionality, ie obsolete/deprecated features.

Blah blah. I think the internet can be a great resource for ANYTHING. I never went to college because I have the internet at my hands. I have no need to let those brainwashing establishments turn ME into a liberal idiot. I can just go online and search for something, and find out how to do it. I built this ENTIRE site by looking shit up online, for example. No small feat, but a gradual work in progress.

I think websites can feature all sorts of great communities, but as I've found recently, message board communities are dying, in favor of single-domain based conglomerates, like facebook and reddit. Where have all the good sites gone? If you had a website, what would you want it to be?
